Every booking has two sides. A guest who wants to find a function, and a host who needs to get paid. FuncFinder is a two-sided marketplace for discovering and booking local functions.
A guest searches for functions on a map, browses trending feeds, and messages the host without leaving the app. Payments run on Stripe Connect, not a plain checkout. Each host onboards their own connected account. A Cloud Function creates the charge, the app confirms it on the client, and the funds settle to the host directly.
At the door, every guest checks in with a QR code, and after the event, they leave a review. Built in Flutter with Provider and Firebase, plus Google Maps and Stripe Connect. Lead developer, over 4 months, in 2020.
